Our Story
The Intro
Crystals and More is an independent crystal shop located at 11 Cecil Street, in Carlisle town centre. We are incredibly lucky to be based on the edge of the stunning Lake District and not far from the amazing beaches of the West Coast and beautiful Scottish Borders.
The Shop
Michelle takes great pride in hand selecting the majority of the crystals, she travels monthly to select them in person from her supplier. Michelle has worked with her suppliers and built up a wonderful relationship, this allows Michelle to know where the crystals have come from and be sure they have been ethically sourced.
While we try to put as much on the website as possible, the shop is full of hundreds of unique crystals meaning we can’t possibly put everything on the website. If there is something in particular you are after or would like to get lost in browsing to see which crystal calls you, its always better to call into the shop where you will receive a warm welcome.
The Therapy
The shop opened in 2021 after Michelle decided to expand her Hypnotherapy practice. Within the shop there is a beautiful therapy room where you can find various therapists offering treatments from Reiki and Crystal Healing to Tarot Readings.

Michelle Qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2008 and has been in practice since.
Meet Michelle
Michelle is the owner of J and M Therapies Ltd, Crystals and More, you may have seen her popping up on various lives on social media or in the shop, you cant miss her really, she’s the one with the purple hair.

Michelle has always had a love of crystals and helping people. She trained as a Driving Instructor before becoming a Driving Examiner for LGV and Buses, but she always felt something was missing.
The History
Back in 2017 her beloved sister lost a very short battle with cancer aged just 45, this gave Michelle the push she needed so she went on to retrain as a Clinical Hypnotherapist (which she still does after the shop has closed). Michelle wanted to add to the hypnotherapy so she branched out into her other passion... crystals, starting off with just a few on a table in her hypnotherapy practice.

Fast forward to today and Crystals and More is a wonderful, homely shop with many hundreds of crystals to chose from. The shop sells more including candles, tarot, figurines and stunning chess sets to name just a few.
