Our Story

Back in 2017 my beautiful sister lost a very short battle with cancer aged just 45, this gave me the push I needed to grab life with both hands, so I went on to retrain as a Clinical Hypnotherapist (which I still does after the shop has closed). I wanted to add to the hypnotherapy so I branched out into my other passion... crystals, starting off with just a few on a table in my hypnotherapy practice.

I started going to markets and within weeks of this I moved into my first shop, I say shop, it was a teeny tiny hut but it was all mine and my first shop premises. At this point I left my full time job as a Driving Examiner and flung myself fully into my lifes passion...

A few months in it became apparent that I needed a larger shop so I moved into a shop on the outskirts of the town centre. We had 2 1/2 very happy years in the shop when I felt the itchy feet happening again! Something was calling me to move premises so I listened to my gut and moved again, this time into a HUGE three story building, my grown up shop, one that I can not outgrow nor do I want to, she is lovely. She is in the centre of the town making her more accessible to everyone.  

​So fast forward to today and Crystals and More is a wonderful, homely shop with many hundreds of crystals to chose from. The shop sells more including candles, tarot, figurines and clothing ranges including Hell Bunny and Wicked Dragon to name just a few. We have a beautiful therapy room in which I carry out my hypnotherapy, we also rent the room to other therapists. 

We are proud to say we also have an art studio room which is rented out for various workshops, this is where we hold our very own Purple Club which is an fabric sculpting art relaxation workshop.

Im a strong believer that Jackie (my sister) had a big hand in moving me to where I am now, her photograph sits proudly up above the till area, so feel free to give her a nod and a smile if you are in the shop.
